# Affirmation: Sankalpa

> Sankalpa is an iPhone app from Swisswise GmbH in Bern, Switzerland, for daily affirmations, personal words, a private journal, widgets and instrumental meditation music.

The app includes six focus areas, personal affirmations, journal reflections and mood entries, Home and Lock Screen widgets, meditation timers, and wallpaper exports. The meditation audio is instrumental music without spoken guidance.

Sankalpa does not require an app account. Personal writing is stored on the device and is not uploaded to an app-operated server or an AI service. Sharing and exports happen when the user chooses them. Device or iCloud backups may include app data, depending on the user's settings.

The website's writing example is separate from the app: its text is temporary, is not saved or sent, and clears when the page is reloaded or left. The app's journal draft, in contrast, is stored locally as the user types.

Sankalpa supports personal reflection. It does not diagnose or treat a condition or replace medical or psychological care. Lifetime is a separate one-time, non-consumable purchase through Apple, without a subscription or automatic renewal. The free trial lasts 72 hours from Apple confirmation and never charges automatically. The website shows CHF 14.00 as a Swiss App Store reference price; Apple confirms the price for each region before purchase. Store availability is determined by Apple.

The support form is separate from the website writing example. Deliberately submitting the form sends the email address, message and language to Swisswise through Web3Forms for support. The privacy policy describes provider processing and international infrastructure. Payments help maintain Swisswise's website, support and server platform; the app journal remains local on the user's device.
